Comprehensive Real User Review: Steelcase Gesture Chair
Steelcase surveyed over 2,000 workers across 11 countries to discover how smartphones, tablets, and multi-monitor setups changed sitting posture. The result is the Gesture chair.
The 360-Degree Ball-Joint Arms
The standout engineering triumph is the arm mechanism. Unlike standard chairs where arms only slide forward and back, the Gesture’s arms mimic the human shoulder joint. You can bring them in close to support your elbows while texting on a phone, or splay them wide when working on an oversized drawing tablet.
